Skylar Entertainment is a boutique Public Relations firm for the Arts & Entertainment industry based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 2004, by publicist Diane Foy, the company increases the public and media awareness of musicians, actors, films, festivals, events and other arts projects through strong relationships with national media contacts and active social media initiatives. Specializing in music and film publicity, the firm has enjoyed great success representing International artists The Parlotones, Perry Farrell’s Satellite Party, Mink, Fernando Saunders (Lou Reed, Marianne Faithful), Phil Solem (The Rembrandts) and MINK along with top Canadian artists Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar, Grady), Sass Jordan, Brian Byrne, Dearly Beloved, D.O.A., Five Alarm Funk, Imaginary Cities, Chris Koster, Patrizia, Peter Katz and Meredith Shaw.  Skylar Entertainment was the official Canadian publicist and promoter for Sean “Diddy” Combs Grammy Awards 2012 After Party at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles to benefit AngelWish.org. 

Film projects have included the 2010 – present Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF), Hollywood red carpet premiers, Film Representation at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the Canadian Cinema Editors Awards.  Actors represented have included Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time, American Graffiti), Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars, Peach Plum Pear), Alanna Masterson (Peach Plum Pear), Marianthi Evans (Max Payne), 2011 Daytime Emmy Award winner Brittany Allen (Bomb Girls, All My Children) and Veronika London (Searching for Angels, HBO’s Lingerie).
