- Marianthi Evans In Max Payne Movie – Toronto actress Marianthi Evans plays a small but pivotal role as Max Payne’s wife in the movie MAX PAYNE with Mark Wahlberg. On October 13, 2008, the red carpet outside the famed Mann’s Grauman Chinese Theater in Hollywood was full of celebrities, media and industry for the premiere. Marianthi had interviews with Entertainment Tonight US & Canada, E! News, Fox Movies, Entertainment Weekly and Maxim Magazine and the next day her photos were splashed all over the net including IESB The Movie Reporter, Hollywood.com, Cinema Skin, Hollywood News Wire, Daily Celeb and Yahoo Movies.
- Yes Madam, Sir @ TIFF - The 33rd Toronto International Film Festival screened the World Premiere of Yes Madam, Sir, a compelling feature-length documentary about the extraordinary life of India’s first female police officer, Kiran Bedi, known to many as the modern day Gandhi. Yes Madam, Sir quickly became a buzz film of the festival. Reviews and interviews included Variety, CNN TV, Westwood One/CBS Radio, Moving Pictures, Documentary Magazine, Filmink/The Blurb, OMNI TV, Indian Express, Lush Magazine, Beautiful People and Mint Magazine.
- Perry Farrell’s Satellite Party & Mink - US & Australia’s MINK recorded their debut album and toured relentlessly to establish themselves as one of the most exciting new live acts on the scene. On the way they met Perry Farrell at SXSW and a musical bond was formed. Farrell was immediately supportive of the band and invited Mink to play Lollapalooza and to join his band Satellite Party on an extensive tour. Skylar Entertainment worked Mink’s first Canadian dates and then worked both Mink and Perry Farrell’s Satellite Party for Toronto, Montreal & Vancouver.
